About Me

I am a practising primary school teacher working in a wonderful school near Loughborough, where I work closely with children with a wide range of learning needs. Remaining in the classroom is important to me, as it ensures my assessments are firmly rooted in current teaching practice and the realities of school life.

Alongside my teaching role, I trained with the British Dyslexia Association, completing the Level 7 Diploma in Dyslexia Assessment and Intervention. I hold an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) and professional membership with the BDA, allowing me to carry out full diagnostic assessments in line with current SASC guidelines.

I offer in-person assessments across Leicestershire and the wider East Midlands and work closely with families and schools to ensure each assessment is tailored specifically to your child, ensuring the report can be used immediately by schools, tutors and families to support learning.

If you would like to explore whether a dyslexia diagnostic assessment is the right step for your child, please get in touch - I will be happy to help.
